Born in Quebec, Canada to her wonderful (and square) parents, Christina didn’t take long to live up to her Chinese astrological sign the Monkey. Monkeys are described as erratic geniuses, remarkably inventive and original. Christina’s passion for the arts was almost as fiery as her hair. She was eager to try every medium with a special interest in sculpture.
By the time she reached her teens she was ready for an adventure. She took part in an exchange to Yamaguchi, Japan. Like a sponge she soaked in all the beauty, wonderment and magic that is Japan. Her art has been forever influenced by that year abroad.
Christina returned to study at Fanshawe College, in London, Ontario where she received her formal training as a Graphic Designer. Currently she lives with her wonderfully supportive husband on Prince Edward Island. From her home studio she creates unique personalized Polymer clay sculptures. Christina still finds time to create art in other mediums while staying active in her local art community. You can see more of Christina’s art on her blog.
